![]() Edward Johnston told his Story for God’s Glory at the service. Born in Waterford, Edward told how he was convicted by the question a minister asked at a Sunday night service when he was 11—”Are you ready to meet Jesus if He returned tonight?” He went home and ‘did business' with God. Keeping Proverbs 3, verses 5 and 6 as his watchword: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” ![]() “At the pool of Bethesda, Jesus healed a man who couldn't walk.” – John 5:1-15 Unwell through Autumn 2013, with relapsed aggressive lymphoma, I lived in Belfast City Hospital for nearly 6 months. Over time I lost power and mobility, due to weakness and being confined to bed with up to 6 pumps attached to me for a week at a time. Suffering from ‘cabin fever’, I recall a precious half hour ‘jailbreak’ in the sun outside the Cancer Centre with son Chris, and Chris Agnew, as we enjoyed a Polly Pineapple each. |
