Dear Friends,
Many thanks for your continued support of the children at Kamatungu School for the Deaf, Kenya. Your support in prayer and giving is very much appreciated by everyone there. Last year the April rains failed so the crops did not grow well and many families had run out of food by August. In September parents could not afford the transport needed to bring their children back to school. However Rev Patrick was able to get a vehicle and go round and collect the children. He found that many families were living solely on wild fruits. Thanks to your generosity he was able to buy a sack of maize and a sack of beans for the most needy families. Families, such as that of Peterson below, had to sell their goat herd in order to buy food. Many thanks again for making it possible for us to buy a goat for a number of the children at Christmas so that their families could start to build up their goat herd again.
