The Donaghadee Camera Club The Donaghadee Camera Club meets at Carnalea Methodist Church. Yes , that’s right The Donaghadee Camera Club meets every Friday at Carnalea Methodist Church between September and April. The name is historical, the club having been formed in Donaghadee in 1955, and, after various changes of location over the years, we are now happily settled at Carnalea. We always welcome new members - people who are interested in photography, people who want to develop their skills, who enjoy the photography of others, or who simply want an interesting and enjoyable evening out.
We meet between 8.00 pm and 10.00 pm each Friday during our season and the first three evenings of the new season are: Friday 11 September – The year starts off with a guest speaker, John Miskelly, who is a landscape photographer Friday 18 September – This is the first of this year’s competitions. The subject is “Open” which means that members can submit any photograph they like. Friday 25 September – This will be a review of prints and projected images which we entered for competitions last year. It will give you an idea of the range and quality of the work of our members. Please come along and find out what we do. For more information, contact Lawrence Moscrop 028 9127 1262 or see the programme pdf below.
